Performance Creative & Paid Social Matos Law Firm · Q1 2026

The Situation

At the start of 2026, the firm got budget to run paid ads for the first time. No prior account history, no pixel data, no agency. I built the entire Meta ads operation from scratch — strategy, creative, targeting, and weekly optimization — solo.

What I did

Launched three lead generation campaigns targeting English and Spanish-speaking audiences across Colorado. Wrote all ad copy, directed on-camera talent, coordinated video editing, and designed all graphic ads in Canva. Developed Spanish-language creative with AI assistance and native speaker review. Tested approximately 25 video ads and 20 graphic ads across the quarter. Analyzed performance weekly with GoMarble AI — cutting losing creatives and scaling what worked.

Brand, Community & Organic Growth Matos Law Firm · 2023–2025

The situation

I joined Matos Law Firm as a videographer. Within a year I was running marketing across three brands simultaneously. When the budget was cut 80% — from $25K to $5K per month — I had to maintain growth on almost nothing.

What I did

Built the firm's entire organic marketing infrastructure from scratch: content strategy, video production, email, events, community, and executive communications — all solo. Created Arriba Las Mujeres, a professional community for Latina women in Denver, from a 30-person happy hour. Launched its companion newsletter, Conexión Colorado. Managed the founder's LinkedIn and personal brand from zero.

Creative Direction & Content Production You Betcha! · 2021–2022

The situation

You Betcha! held an open-call video tryout to hire their first content creator. I ended up getting the job.

What I did

Owned creative direction and end-to-end production for Goose Egg Sports and other You Betcha! properties across six platforms simultaneously — scripting, filming, editing, and on-camera performance. Produced and hosted two separate weekly podcasts solo. Traveled regionally as a producer for Small Town Bar Reviews. Integrated sponsored content without killing the audience’s trust that made it work.

What this showed me

How to build an audience from nothing. How to maintain creative output under pressure. How to make content that feels human even when you're producing it at volume.
